Dahlia Wasfi, a physician and activist who has returned to Iraq several times and Jimmy Massey a founding member of Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) will speak on the war in Iraq at Albany Public Library, 161 Washington Avenue, Albany.

9/11 Truth UAlbany will be screening "Iraq for Sale", a documentary about private mercenary corporations in Iraq. This is especially timely as Blackwater, one of the biggest of these corporations, has just been kicked out of Iraq for killing civilians. We will also be joined by Jimmy Massey, a member of Iraq Veterans for Peace, featured in "The Ground Truth". He will give a short speech and then answer audience questions on the movie and Iraq in general.

9/11 Truth UAlbany screening the documentary "The Trials of Henry Kissinger" ,  about Kissinger's role in the coup in Chile, in the bombing of Cambodia, and in East Timor.

The Muslim Solidarity March will be from the Mosque on Central Avenue (starting at 4:30 ) to a rally at
the Armory.

Active Duty GIs from Fort Drum are calling for this Peace Rally in Syracuse on September 29th, 2007. NEPAJAC (NORTHEAST PEACE AND JUSTICE ACTION COALITION) is planning a caravan to carry Peace Activists from the Albany Capital District and Hudson Valley Regions to this anti-war rally. Active Duty GIs from Fort Drum are calling for a Peace Rally in Syracuse. A NEPAJAC (NORTH EAST PEACE AND JUSTICE ACTION COALITION) planning meeting will be held to organize Capital Region and Hudson Valley Peace Groups for the September 29th anti-war rally in Syracuse in our efforts to support and build this event.

A dedicated group of people have been meeting every Monday during rush hour at the corners of Routes 155 and 20. The positive response from commuters has been tremendous! Several new members have joined as a result of passing by our vigil.
